Biographical sketch

Dr. Brown has served as Assistant Dean and Assistant Director of the Florida Agricultural Experiment Station, along with Program Director of the Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture Research Program and Co-Director of the Center for Tropical Agriculture at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. A professor of animal science, Dr. Brown has published widely in both the scientific and trade literature and has served in editorial and review capacities for a number of scholarly publications, including the Journal of Animal Science and the Journal of Production Agriculture.

Farmer Research
There's agricultural research going on all over Tennessee, but much of it can't happen without the input of farmers. UT AgResearch works with producers to test crops and growing conditions.
