The fifth Tennessee Browsing Academy is being hosted by Tennessee State University in their quest to offer advanced information on the enhancement of lands. A pilot project was initiated and completed 2006. This educational, hands-on 2-day seminar begins on 16 May through 17 May 2014. The program is based on the successful California Browsing Academy that has been taught for the past 14 years as a partnership of An Peischel and Roger Ingram, Extension Livestock Specialist for Placer and Nevada Counties out of Auburn, CA (University of CA – Davis). Roger Ingram, Ranching for Profit instructor, will bring “the business” part of land enhancement and land restoration to the forefront.
