6:30 - 8:30 pm

Could we have a major earthquake in East Tennessee? Do we live in an active seismic zone? These and many other questions will be answered by Dr. Robert Hatcher, University of Tennessee Distinguished Scientist, at a lecture sponsored by the UT Arboretum Society and the UT FRREC on Thursday, January 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Roane State Community College - Oak Ridge Campus, 'City Room'.

Due to popular demand, Dr. Hatcher is again returning to address these and other questions about earthquake activity in our area. Are earthquakes frequent in our area, and what are our chances of experiencing a strong quake will be among the topics Dr. Hatcher will discuss.

Unless otherwise noted, all events are open to the public.
