'Give a Hoot for Owls' program at the UT Arboretum

The UT Arboretum Society will present an educational program about owls on Thursday, November 7, at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the UT Arboretum Auditorium in Oak Ridge. Please note this is an indoor presentation; it is not a hike.

Park Ranger Monica Johnson of the Cumberland Mountain State Park will bring four live owls to meet up close and personal. Johnson has over 17 years experience in the park system and she has been a park ranger for over 10 years. She will talk about owls and the educational raptor and rehabilitation program at Cumberland Mountain State Park.

The program is free but attendance is limited to 100, so pre-registration is required. Please register with the number of people in your group at 865-483-7277. Please make sure to include your contact information when registering. The program will be held indoors at the UT Arboretum Auditorium.
